Dopamine




Not a normal fashion advert, or indeed advert at all your probably thinking, however this new campaign named Dopemine from surf / skate brand Insight is just that!

Dustin Humphrey, a well known surf photographer has managed to merge what Insight stands for, surfing lifestyle, off the wall clothing, creativity and a certain radical lifestyle. He has incorporated a rather odd collection of opposing environments: upside down bedrooms, naked girls on motor bikes and underwater shanty towns to name a few. Team riders including Kai Otten and Luke Steadmen impress the upper half of images, while bizarre sub-aquatic scenes are featured, something I've never seen before in surf related advertising. This new creative form of advertising is sure to cause a knock on effect in the industry, I look forward to seeing what...

  1. This is very bizarre... not your average surfing advertisement. Does Photoshop have a part to play in this? You should check out the artist Philippe Ramette. He manages to pull off some impressive stunts in order to convey a world turned upside down.
